Spare Metal Earring Backs
Favor Jewelry will be closing at the end of March. The last day to place new orders is March 31, 2026.
Orders placed from March 11 onward are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Current production time is approximately one week before shipping.
After March 31, we will no longer be making new jewelry and will only be offering the remaining pieces we have on hand while inventory lasts.

This is for one pair of metal ear backs. They are secure, locking backs that fit most stud earrings and all studs and posts from Favor Jewelry. Perfect when you’ve lost the original backs or you just need some spares. These do not come with any earrings.
Materials
Always hypoallergenic, lead-free, & nickel-free.
14k GOLD FILL
Gold fill is made by heat and pressure-bonding a layer of 14k gold to a brass core. This process is extremely strong and will last decades or longer. Gold is naturally very soft, so bonding it to brass adds strength to our designs. The wonderful thing about this process is that everything you see and touch is 14k gold and always will be, so you don't have to worry about flaking, tarnishing, allergies, or turning your skin green! It also helps use less gold, which decreases the demand for new mines (a bonus for the world!) and decreases the cost.
Gold fill is not the same as gold plate or gold-plated. Plated metal is made by dipping any kind of metal in a very thin coating of gold and it flakes and wears off quickly. Normal wear and tear won't impact your gold fill.
STERLING SILVER
We use 100% recycled sterling silver that is milled in the American Southwest. Natural silver does darken with time which can be very beautiful. If you prefer your silver bright and shiny (as we do!) you can use a polishing cloth to gently buff it clean. Lucky for us, wearing silver jewelry actually slows down the rate of tarnish and oxidation and keeps the metal bright and shiny!

I absolutely love these. My ears are very sensitive, and I am able to wear these for weeks on end and never take them out. Plus they are just so pretty. I highly recommend!!!
Perfectly dainty. I’ve had tiny sphere-shaped studs before but love that these are flat. They’re a bit different with slightly edgier vibe and catch the light nicely. Might be ordering more…!
I love these earrings. I have small ears and three piercings so I needed something tiny but beautiful, these earrings are perfect. They are well made and last. I wear them in the shower and salt water pool and I have never had them tarnish or degrade in any way. I highly recommend these earrings!!!
